Dual Locomotive Train Horns. Loud....Very Loud. We've waited for these for a very long time. Our new air horn set will blow your socks off. Two sonically matched wide mouth horns produce a sound that will turn heads - even in the heaviest traffic. Each horn mounts separately, so finding a place to mount them in your car is easy. Beacuse each trumpet has it's own dedicated Vortex 3 electronic solenoid valve, maximum air flow is directed into both horns. That means loud. Really LOUD! 154.2 dB LOUD. Even at low pressure (100 psi), these horns put out an amazing 152.7 ear splitting decibels. We first tested these at low pressure (about 80 psi) to see how they would sound. Even then, with just a quick blast that lasted only about 1 second, we felt it - PAIN! These things hurt. Once the ringing in our ears went away, we knew we had a winner with this one! Something Traditional Triple Train Horn about three huge trumpets perfectly coming together in earth-shaking harmony just seems to put a smile on everyone's face. However, freeing up space to fit this setup is difficult in most vehicles. We were sick and tired of our customers having to settle for horns that are not as loud as they want, or do not have the same distinctive sound. We wanted to offer a horn that could fit into almost all vehicles without sacrificing sound. Oh yeah, and we wanted it to look real badass. Enter "THE BEAST". "The Beast": "The Beast" is a triple train horn setup made of thick black ABS. The trumpet lengths are slightly larger than the original triple train horn set which means a louder, fuller sound. Design: By mounting the horns on a flat rack we reduced the vertical space needed for an install by about 4.5 inches. This design change makes it easier to keep the whole unit above the axel for simple underside installations. Why ABS? ABS is an extremely durable plastic used to make rigid molded products. There are several advantages to having ABS trumpets. First of all, ABS is known for it toughness and impact resistance. You don' t have to worry about these horns getting dings or dents that would affect appearance or sound. Another advantage is that ABS will not corrode like most metal trumpets do. You only have to hear these horns to know that there is no sound quality lost. Traditional Triple Train Horn "The Beast" Separate the Horns!!! Each of the trumpets on "The Beast" have their own mounting brackets and NPT inlet. If your vehicle is really tight on space you can use our Model 6850 Split Installation Kit to mount the horns separately. You can save a lot of space by mounting the trumpets in different places instead of all together on the rack. Mount them on a body rail, or in the engine compartment, or wherever you can fit these bad boys. Split Installation Kit (Not Included) The Split Installation Kit comes with everything you need to install the 230 Triple Train Horn without the original mounting bracket. The kit includes six NPT compression fittings, one 4-way manifold and high pressure rated air tubing. BUT WAIT, IT GETS LOUDER!!! We know that these horns will be plenty loud for most of you. But we also know that there is always that one person who wants to push it even further. So we've put together something extra special for you nut-jobs. "Blast Master" Air Flow Kit (Not included) Most horn systems that have 2, 3 or 4 trumpets only have one solenoid that takes in air from the air source. Once the valve is opened, the air must be divided between multiple trumpets which means they are not operating at maximum pressure and therefore not at their highest potential. While that is just fine for most people, we know you wackos want more. With the "Blast Master" Air Flow Kit, a huge 1/2" line from the air tank feeds into a 4-way manifold. From there three lines break off and go to the solenoid on each of the three trumpets. By putting a "The Beast" with "Blast Master" Air Flow Kit solenoid on each trumpet, the individual horns no longer have to "share" the air. Because the solenoids are placed right at the base of the trumpets, each of the horns get immediate air flow at maximum pressure.

There's no mistaking that real train sound. Loud and deep, these horns will turn heads and move people - big time! The sound clip will demonstrate the tone of the horns. Nothing you can do on your computer will replicate the massive sound output these horns will give you. Sound that you can feel, not just hear. So....lots of horns seem to look like these....what makes these better? 1) Construction. The trumpets are made of spun copper with a thick aluminum mounting base. Spinning copper tubes is a very expensive process, but we think the final product is well worth the cost. The tone is rich and consistent, and the trumpets are thick and sturdy. The mounting base will resist corrosion and can be used to mount the horns under your vehicle or on the roof. Cheap horns are made of stamped recycled "pot metal". That's re-used metal that's been ground up, re-melted and stamped into shape. Once it's chrome plated it looks just fine, but because they're stamped, the metal needs to be thin. Thin metal will vibrate excessively - robbing you of precious decibels. Also, because the composition of pot metal varies, the tone of these horns will vary as well. What you hear in the sound clips may not be what you get. 2) The solenoid. These train horns come with a Vortex 3 electronic air solenoid.
